New Look HAVAL H6 Coming Soon

The HAVAL H6, a beloved crossover SUV brand under the Great Wall Motors (GWM) umbrella from China, continues to capture the attention of Pakistani consumers with its range of petrol and hybrid options. Among its lineup, the HAVAL H6 emerges as a popular choice, known for its blend of style and performance. Exciting news awaits enthusiasts as the company prepares to unveil the vehicle next week, with plans to launch it by the end of the year.

Expected Changes

Design Language: Significant alterations are anticipated, particularly in the front design. After a transformation of the grille last year towards a more enclosed appearance, this year sees a return to a larger grille, complemented by striking light strips extending from the headlights. At the rear, traditional light cluster arrangements replace the previous through strip lights.

Dimension: The current iteration of the HAVAL H6, belonging to the C-segment, has been in circulation since 2020. However, a new look is on the horizon. A recent teaser released by the company hints at forthcoming changes, including a refreshed design and adjustments in dimensions. Notably, the length is expected to increase by 50 mm, now reaching 4703 mm.

Power: Despite the facelift, powertrain options are anticipated to remain largely unchanged. Customers can still anticipate the choice between a 1.5T engine with 135 kW power mated with a 7-speed wet dual clutch gearbox or a 170 kW 2.0T with a 7-speed dual clutch unit. Additionally, there are expectations for hybrid and PHEV versions to be available.

The HAVAL H6 has enjoyed considerable success in China, ranking as the sixth best-selling SUV in 2023 with robust sales figures. With this facelift, Great Wall Motors aims to sustain its momentum in the market. Furthermore, export plans are underway, with the HAVAL H6 set to be introduced in various developing markets across Australia, Asia and South Africa.
