Pakistan Sold 900,000 in 7 months

Motorcycle Sales and Production Statistics
There are total number of motorbikes , which are sold during last seven months in Pakistan. The total number of sale of the motorbikes, which are 933,000, when you compare them with the last year numbers of 770,000. The overall increase in the sale of the motor bike is about 21% from July 2016 to January 2017.
Pakistan has produced about 2 million motorbikes in 2016 and
Honda Atlas has prepared 46% of the total production of the motorbikes in Pakistan, which is the leading and very popular brand of the motor bikes.
The total number of bikes, which are manufactured by each company during the fiscal year 2015-2016, are:
• Atlas Honda, 810,539 units
• United Motorcycle, 262,774 units
• Road Prince, 166,836 units
• Unique, 148,818 units
• Super Star, 95,698 units
• Super Power, 94,358 units
• Crown, 69,110 units
• Power, 62,560 units
• HI Speed, 56,287 units
• Yamaha, 20,100 units
• Suzuki, 16,832 units
Dire Traffic Situation
Motorbike is considered the cheapest personal transport, which is available in Pakistan and this transport has some problems. The bikes have to face traffic accidents and most of the bike riders are likely to break the traffic laws and rules, when you compare this transport facility with other transports, when you analyze the data available through public. It is also evident that there are total 80,000 chalans were served to the bike riders in one month in Lahore city alone.

To curb this menace of traffic accidents by the motor bike riders, the new traffic system is implemented in Lahore and it will provide the separate lanes for the motorcyclists in Lahore city. The new traffic lights are installed and the motor cycle number plates reading cameras are also installed in the city to help the new system in maintaining law and order situation within the city.
