The French auto company has already launched the B-segment crossover SUV Peugeot 2008 which is an addition in the small SUV market. Lucky Motors recently started the booking of the Peugeot 2008 after revealing the details specs and price of Peugeot 2008. The Peugeot has two direct competitors in the local market including the Kia Stonic and MG ZS

Herewe are going to make a brief comparison between three SUVs to find out which is the best small crossover SUV in Pakistan. So let’s go the check out. 
1. Exterior and Look


Peugeot 2008

The French SUV has a unique and attracting design appearance. On the front side, the grille of the SUV has sporty bumpers, mini slats arranged vertically, reptilian-eye headlights, and the ‘Lion’s Claw’-patterned Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) which makes the front of the car more aggressive. 

When we see the sides of the SUV Peugeot, It provides dramatic appearance with the contrasting color of D-pillars and featured with a unique character lines and 17 inch rims on the top. The SUV looks modern and aggressive in back as well having a stylish tailgate, streaked LED taillights on both side and a distinctive rear bumper.

With the combination of all unique and modern features of Peugeot 2008 makes the SUV modern and provide and aggressive look. 



Kia Stonic 

The Kia Stonic, like its other counterparts also has a competitive Position in the market with its unique and extraordinary looking appearance and design.  On the front, the Kia Stonic SUV has LED headlights with quad-DRLs (in the EX+ only), the signature tiger-nose grille finished in silver, and piano black (matte black in the EX), a smooth and contemporary front bumper, and a sharp bonnet design. 

Kia Stonic looks like a standard Crossover from the side profile having a tall stance, functional roof rails on the top, 15-inch or 16-inch alloy wheels (depending on the variant), body-colored door handles, and the bottom side finished in matte-black garnish. 

On the rear side, the Kia Stonic resembles with a Shrunken Sportage featuring same taillight design minus the central red stripe, an identical tailgate design, a spoiler on top, and a matte-black rear bumper with a silver trim-piece in the center. For young buyers, the Kia Stonic is best small crossover SUV. 


MG ZS

The most popular SUV in the market, the MG ZS has a minimalistic styling to appeal the buyers. The MG ZS SUV has smooth lines and has a design appearance like HS. On the front the SUV has an imposing front grille, classy headlights, an elegant front bumper, and a smooth sleek bonnet.

The car has a sharp beltline towards the back and also sharp lines, roof rails on the top, silver anti-bump strips at the bottom of the doors.  The MG ZS small SUVs gives a premium look with 16-inch alloy wheels and silver strips around the windows.

On the rear side, the MG ZS is similar to Kia Stonic having identical tailgate and taillight design. The forward leaning for a sporty look and rear spoiler design is same in both SUVs. In comparison with Kia Stonic, the MG ZS has better bumper design. 


2. Interior 


Peugeot 2008

The Peugeot 2008 is an incredible modern looking and small-sized crossover SUV. It has unique shapes and layout of the overall dash, air vents, hexagonal steering wheel, and a crisp driver’s display .The interior has premium fabric and having spacious and comfortable seats for five persons. The car has 434 liter luggage space which can be increased up to 1000 liters when while folding the rear seats.


Kia Stonic 

The Kia Stonic has conventional and simple interior design. Despite of having scratchy plastic, the interior of Kia Stonic is more reliable and has an attractive shape and design. Even it is a small size SUV but it has a specious seating for four persons. The SUV has small boot space of 352 liters but folding down the rear seats can make for over 1,000 liters of boot space, which is enough to carry large items.


MG ZS

The interior design of the MG ZS got inspiration from the European premium cars. It has leatherette trimmed seats and silver trim pieces. The SUV gives a premium look with having chromed circular vents, elegant steering wheel design, a smart-looking center control stack, and silver door latches on the inside.

The MG ZS is a specious SUV having seating space for four passengers and temporary seats for the three passengers in the rear for a short tour. It has 359L boot space and can be increased by 1,000L by folding the seats.

4. Performance 


Peugeot 2008

The Peugeot 2008 will have a 1.2L turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine that sends 131 horsepower (hp) and 220 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. The SUV comes with a McPherson struts suspension up front and a torsion bar coil spring set up at the back and features four-wheel disc brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EDB), and Brake Assist (BA) technology.


Kia Stonic 

The Kia Stonic comes with a single powertrain — a naturally aspirated 1.4-L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 98 hp and 133 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with 6-speed automatic gear box. It has McPherson struts up front and torsion bar coil-spring suspension at the back. It also has disc brakes (front and rear) with ABS technology. It is a fuel economical SUV and offers fuel economy of 14 km/l in the city and 18 km/l on the highway.


MG ZS 

The MG ZS is powered By a naturally aspirated, 1.5-L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 106 hp and 141 Nm of torque and is mated to a 4-speed Aisin automatic transmission that only sends power to the front wheels. For suspension it has McPherson struts up front and torsion bar coil-spring suspension at the back. It also has disc brakes all-around with ABS, EBD, and BA technology. Its fuel efficiency is 10—12 km/l of fuel average in the city and 13—15 km per liter on the highway, which are decent figures for a crossover SUV.
