Punjab Government 3000 Pink Scooties for Females
The government of Punjab is taking the initiative to introduce new scheme of pink scooties in order to empower the female of the country. The draft has been prepared and the pink scooties will be provided to the female so that they can reach at their work place in time and they do not face the traffic hazards and wait for the buses and other transport. The chief minister of Punjab has decided to inaugurate this scheme on the celebrations of Women’s day, which will be celebrated on 08 March 2017.
According to the detail of this scheme, the female, who earn minimum wage of 15 to 20 thousands rupees and their ages are between 18 to 40 years, they are eligible to submit their application forms for this scheme. It is mandatory to provide CNIC, driving license and domicile with their application forms. The scooties are fitted with the tracker in order to protect them from being hijacked.
In the first phase of the scheme, the government of Punjab is making plan for 3000 scooties. It is also announced that the female students of other province, who are getting education in Punjab, are also eligible to apply for this scheme. The government has organized the training camps in five different districts of Punjab and over 2500 females have already completed their training successfully. About 650 females have updated and acquired their licenses after passing their tests.
