Solar Power Car with No Fuel Cost

Aptera Motors is launching the Aptera Launch Edition, a solar-powered electric vehicle that aims to solve the frequent charging problem. This three-wheeler can drive up to 64 km per day without charging, thanks to its 34 sq ft of solar panels that generate up to 700 W of electricity while in motion. The owners of these EVs can drive for several weeks or months without visiting charging stations, and in sunny areas, charging may not be necessary at all.


The Aptera Launch Edition is built with lightweight carbon fiber and fiberglass components that reduce resistance and improve performance, making it more energy-efficient than other electric cars. It comes with a 42 kWh battery with a range of 640 km, which will be increased to 1600 km in future models. The vehicle will be available for $33,200 when it goes on sale at the end of the year.
