Suzuki Swift Discontinued Road Travelling Officially

Suzuki Swift has gained success soon after its launching and it has completed its journey in the auto market and now this vehicle has been discontinued by the automaker, Pak Suzuki. The customers can find the list on the social media as both variants of this hatchback are now suspended and Suzuki Swift discontinued road travelling officially.

The company made the announcement last year in August regarding the discontinuation of this vehicle and now the company will discontinue Swift in August 2021. Suzuki said that the company would produce 2,432 units of Swift from August 2020 to August 2021 and it was announced that company would produce 668 DLX NAV variants and 2423 AT NAV variants during these 12 months.

What is Next?

The company would launch new model of Suzuki Swift during March 2022 and the launching ceremony would be managed soon. Suzuki would launch 4th gen of Swift in Pakistan and this hatchback was released in full glory at Geneva Motor show in March 2017. The new Swift has the class lightweight body as it has new generation platform ‘Heart Tech’ and it is added with facelift with mild cosmetic changes in 2020. The pre-facelift vehicle is reported to be launched very soon.

Engine

The engine of 4th gen Swift is added with multiple configuration and they are SVS hybrid, 3 cylinder 1.0 liter booster-jet engine, KB 12 1.2L petrol and couple of diesels like 1.3L and 1.5L. the KB 12 1.2L engine is likely to be introduced in Pakistan and it has maximum output of 84 HP, which is less than 1.3 L 90 HP of current Swift in Pakistan and weight loss will compensate for lesser power output.

Exterior

On the exterior side of the car, you can find the car projector-head lamps, LED DRL’s and LED-tail lamps and chrome grille, which can give distinct and premium appeal. The new Swift looks sportier than previous one and you can compare current Swift in Pakistan, the 4th gen Swift has the benefits from longer wheelbase, length and width.

Interior:

The Interior side of the SUV, Swift gets a makeover, which can make its look pleasing. The company has introduced various interior elements like center console, gearbox and steering wheel, which are highlighted with a silver color coating to elevate the look and feel of the cabin and you can also find automatic climate control, steering mounted controls and cool glove box. On the dashboard of the vehicle, there is speedometer, which is added with centre-mounted color TFT display to display different information for the driver.
