Volvo has released pricing details for its upcoming 2025 EX90, scheduled for launch in the United States next year. Positioned as the safest car in the Swedish automaker's lineup, the base model, EX90 Twin Motor Plus, starts at €71,468 and boasts an impressive range of up to 483 km.
The Volvo EX90 Twin Motor Plus, the entry-level variant, features eye-catching Thor's Hammer LED headlights, gloss black accents, and stylish 20-inch alloy wheels, making a bold statement on the road. Convenience and aesthetics are enhanced with rain-sensing wipers and a fixed panoramic glass roof.


Inside the EX90 SUV, a 9-inch digital instrument cluster and a sizable 14.5-inch infotainment system with Google integration take center stage. Supporting wireless Apple CarPlay, the portrait-oriented display caters to connected travel preferences. Comfort features abound, including eight-way power front seats, heated front and rear seats, a power-folding third row, and a host of premium amenities like a head-up display, wireless smartphone charger, and a 14-speaker Bose audio system.
The EX90 vehicle offers a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning/Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Information System with Steer Assist, Cross Traffic Alert with Autobrake, Occupant Sensing, Road Sign Information, and an advanced collision warning system.

Exclusive options like wool blend upholstery and an optional €3,000 Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system with 25 speakers cater to audiophiles.
Both EX90 trims share a robust 111 kWh battery powering a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, generating 402 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-97 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, the EX90 achieves a top speed of 180 km/h and covers up to 483 km on a single charge, with a substantial towing capacity of 2,200 kg.

The EX90 Luxury SUV Twin Motor Performance variant, starting at €76,127 and reaching €80,181 for the Ultra guise, features an upgraded dual-motor powertrain producing 496 hp and 910 Nm of torque. Accelerating from 0-97 km/h in a brisk 4.7 seconds, it maintains the impressive 483 km range.
Production of the EX90 is slated for South Carolina, with the first units expected to roll off the assembly line in the first half of 2024. Deliveries are anticipated shortly thereafter, offering customers the opportunity to experience Volvo's vision of the future.
