When you buy any product from any store, you will get the warranty of that product as there may be some defect or it can wear out earlier during the warranty period, you can get it replaced from the store. When we discuss about the cars, and after buying, when we start driving it and suddenly we find that there is something missing or any part does not work properly, then we should complain it with the dealers and ask for provision of the new part of the car. Like various other products, the cars can also be returned to the dealership, if we find any wear out part of the car. Most of the cars are sold with the protection of the buyer and new vehicles are sold in the market with the warranty of the manufacturer. What is a manufacturer warranty?

The car manufacturers give the warranty of the problems that are connected with the manufacturing process. • Car Accidents – If you car meets with an accidents with any other vehicle on the way out of the driveway, it means that this accident does not cover under warranty. The owner of the car needs to report to the car insurance company about this damage and it may be covered by their policy.

• Weather Events – The hail, floods or weather calamities can be a nightmare for the owners of the new car. These incidents are out of control of the manufacturer and it does not include in new car policy.

• Wear and Tear – Different components of car including tires, filters, brake pads and windshield wipers have short lifespan. There is no mistake of the manufacturer and they may wear out and need replacement before the expiry of the warranty. These wear and tear and maintenance items are the sole responsibility of the owners of the car.

• Negligence – If you want that your car long lasting time and it operates well, then you should perform regular maintenance. You need to change the oil and tops up the fluid, you may damage to some systems of the car and the factory does not accept the claim the warranty of the car.

• Chips and Cracks – If you are driving your car on the highway, then there can be crack in windshield or chip on the paint on hood of the new car. These cosmetic damages are happened due to driving daily and the driver is responsible to get this repair done.

Which Vehicles Enjoy Warranties?

When a factory manufactures a vehicle, it gives the warranty of some parts and its manufacturing faults to the customers. The new vehicles, leased vehicles and the certified pre-owned vehicles are added with all types of warranty. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) needs car retailers to post the guide of the buyer in window of the vehicle, for sale of their cars. If you buy the car “As is” basis and you see and buy it. In these cases, you can consult with the local auto repair shop to have a look of the car and then you buy the car.

The warranty offered by the manufacturer protects the buyers from all sorts of damages and the bill of the expensive repairing to the new cars.
