ZXMCO Cruise 200 First Impression

ZXMCO Cruise 200 First Impression
In January 2017, ZXMCO launched a 200cc sports bike. After taking a trip of the bike for a test ride, it was possible to judge the firsthand knowledge of bike’s performance including its build quality and look. Here below, I will describe its performance according to my observation of the motorbike.
Exterior & Build Quality
It is somewhat similar to Yamaha’s heavy bikes due to its grey color and stuffed body kit but it is different in other aspects. There is a wonderful combination of aggressive looks and hunkered down design but closer look at the bike changes the situation.
There is a decrease in aesthetic beauty and overall look of the motorbike due to below standard paint on the fuel tank. Weak plastic is used to build the information cluster which looks good to the eyes but doesn’t provide durability.

There is a neat position for speed and light indications and it can visible under bright daylight in an easily understandable format. If you take the bike for evening trip, you will know about digital speedometer available with trip range, time, trip distance and fuel cells.
The bike also include headlight flash button, rear mono shock, LED light in the rear brake lamp, twin air ducts to throw the air towards engine, front eagle shaped projection lamp and front and rear ventilated disk brakes.
Engine Performance
There is a 200cc water-cooled single cylinder four-stroke engine in the bike but its performance wasn’t satisfactory. The self starter system doesn’t start the system smoothly and the motor starts after few tries. On idling, there is a lack of engine power and if you accelerate the car in 2nd gear after idling if makes the engine whack. But with smooth gear transition, the bike has a powerful acceleration. But the problem happens with aggressive acceleration.
Comfort
You may have to stretch your back after just one ride due to poor ride posture. You will dislike the riding experience due to low paced fork handle, big fuel tank and no traction on the seat. On longer route, you can feel back strain due to placement of the fork handle. The passenger seat is comfortable but different from usual heavy bikes while it is also difficult to apply brakes as the brake pedal is cylindrical.
Price
Its complete price including registration is Rs. 265,000. In this price, it is not such a bad bike and it seems that the bike is designed to provide some elements of heavy bike in an affordable price but it is not a proper heavy bike and you can have this bike if you want a showpiece.
