1992 Nissan Sunny petrol coming from the exhaust

I have a 1992 Nissan Sunny with a GA15 DOHC 16-valve engine and an OBD1 ECM. I’m having trouble finding a car scanner in Karachi to check my ECM and read the codes. There’s black soot in the exhaust and throttle body, and the engine has a rough idle. I’m also noticing oil in the breather pipe that connects to the air intake. Sometimes, when I brake, the engine stalls o r shuts off, but this only happens when it’s cold. Once it warms up, the stalling and rough idle seem to go away, but I’m using more fuel and can smell petrol coming from the exhaust.

Use a timing gun to check the ignition timing. Also, test if the IACV idle air control valve is functioning. To do this, unplug the connector from the IACV also called the autochoke. If the idle RPM s when you disconnect it, then its working. If it doesn’t , it might not be wired correctly o r could be malfunctioning.
