Engine swap 1992 sunny

hi guys ...today i went to shershah to find out a good engine for my sunny. it currently has 1000 cc engine.....guy over there suggested me 1300 cc swap also he showed me a 1400 cc twincam 16 valve engine......

also the shop owner was insisting me to go for 1300cc engine i dnt know why

he told me twincam engine is very fast and quoted me price of 27000 pkr with transmission, fittings and labour all inclusive.

i just want to know which swap would be best for my sunny... one of PW member swapped 1500cc in his sunny but i cudnt find one in shershah ...

can some one pls advice me which engine shud i go for..

well buddy...i have swapped 1.5L E15 in my Sunny around 1.5 Years back and its running healthy
Well 1st of all...i don't know is that rumour or what that Nissan Twin Cam 16V Engine which is GA Series have head cracking problem....some ppl say its true...some say its just a matter of maintaince......! if head get too heated without water..it cracks....!
well Co-incidence is that today i am also in shershah for engine Hunt and have seen that there are lot of Twin Cam 16V GA series engine over there.....! well yeah you are quiet right that E series engines are short nowdays...as engine you have now i same E series.......well try getting E15S which is a bolt-on for it...just one foundation need to be altered a bit but foundation...nothing in chassis....!

Well i know one place where i have seen a GA15DS(1.5L Twin Cam 16V Carb version)......!but not today but around 6 months earlier...the person have whole front cut of B14 (96-97 model) sunny.......! engine was installed in it and i can't believe my eyes when i remove its plug wire....! its shining like new motor......! thats a complete halfcut with suspension and all....! asking 75k that time for complete half cut...don't know about now....!
well there are many E15S still out there in Shershah....!have seen one or two today also...but not much......when i got my E15 back in 2005........theres a whole LOT of E Series motor and i pick my 1.5L piece from it
Well try searching for GA15DS motor.........its tappet cover is all black.....! or find any good E15S....!
before buying engine...make sure u take replacing warranty if something fails.....!
I Will suggest get GA15DS motor......its rated around 95HP while E15 i have is around 70-72hp.......!but it came overcome the underpowered difference which E10 have had.........! E15 got nice low end torque...!
