Toyota exhibited its 6th generation Toyota Corolla in 1987 and 6th generation Corolla is the front engine front wheel drive sedan. The 6th generation Toyota Corolla was revealed in the market in 1987. This car is the front engine front wheel drive sedan and Toyota Corolla 6th generation has new angular design language, which is ditching the boxy design of previous 5th generation Toyota Corolla. The 6th generation Toyota Corolla is provided in the market in 4 variants, which are DX, TX, XL and SE and this car is provided in the market in 3 body styles of 4-door sedan, 5-door lift back and 3-door hatchback. The production of this car was continued for 5 years and this vehicle, Toyota Corolla was available in the market for purchasing during 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991. Exterior

The 6th generation Toyota Corolla exterior has the features of restrained design language and the front end of the car has trapezium styled side swept headlights, rectangular air intake and black rectangular grille, which is embossed with chrome Toyota logo.
