Kia Plans To Launch EV6 In 2021
The renowned auto giants are manufacturing their EVs regularly. The Korean automaker Kia Motors is now planning to bring it’s another electric vehicle. The Kia is reportedly planning to launch the EV6 next year. The company has announced the features and specifications of the next electric vehicle EV6.

As per company, the EV6 will be launched in United States first in 2022 and gradually the car will be brought in other regions as well. The EV6 will come with many powertrain options ranging from 167 to 575hp. An electric motor and a battery of 58kWh will be installed in the base trim. Battery provides power to rear wheels. On the other side, the extended variant of the EV6 will also be packed with same powertrain option that will feature a massive battery of 77 kWh. The latter variant will come with up to 300 miles 482 km on a single charge.

The powerful and top end variant of EV6 will be featured with a dual-electric motor setup and the 77 kWh battery pack. The base version with a dual-electric motor variety of the EV6 will make 313 hp, and the top-tier GT trim level will make 576 hp besides being capable of going from standstill to 100 km/h in around 3.6 seconds.
As per details, the battery of the EV6 can be charged at the DC fast charging stations up to 450 kWh. Kia claims that the EV6 can cover up to 70 miles in 5 minutes only and will consume battery from 10 to 80 percent battery charge in 18 minutes.
